HALO ONLINE: Closed beta launching in Russia

Today 343 announced a new Halo project “Halo Online” partnered with Saber Interactive and Innova Systems:Halo Online is a new free to play Halo Multiplayer experience, Only catch is its only for PC and only in Russia. Halo Online will be using a highly modified version of Halo’s engine and optimized for faster gamplay on lower-end PC’s. The game will not feature a campaign mode, Halo Online is set on a secret UNSC space installation called Anvil….

HALO 5: GUARDIANS’ CUSTOM GAMES WILL USE DEDICATED SERVERS

This week a 343 dev confirmed that Halo 5 will have dedicated servers for both Matchmaking and now Custom Games! Dedicated servers are going to remove the “host advantage” we have all had to deal with since Halo 2 and now everyone will be on an equal playing field for online tournaments and competitive customs.
