Today xbox kicked off Halo 5’s marketing campaign with two live action trailer/ad’s featuring both Spartan Locke and Master Cheif. In both these trailers you will get to see two interesting sides of the story, which has sparked up many questions about Halo 5’s campaign story. Today 343 announced a new Halo project “Halo Online” partnered with Saber Interactive and Innova Systems:Halo Online is a new free to play Halo Multiplayer experience, Only catch is its only for PC and only in Russia. HALO 5: GUARDIANS’ CUSTOM GAMES WILL USE DEDICATED SERVERS

This week a 343 dev confirmed that Halo 5 will have dedicated servers for both Matchmaking and now Custom Games! Dedicated servers are going to remove the “host advantage” we have all had to deal with since Halo 2 and now everyone will be on an equal playing field for online tournaments and competitive customs.
