Welcome Back to Halo Australia.

We are hyped to announce the launch of our ladder and Tournament system built on Tournamatch.

It has been a long time coming. Truth be told it has been a massive undertaking and we could not have pushed through the grind without the continued support and passion of the ANZ Halo community. We hope for Halo Australia to be ANZ Halo’s home that runs year round to stop those dreaded dead periods while simultaneously running alongside any official 343i events.

So what is Tournamatch?

Tournamatch is an eSports Content Management System for ladders and tournaments. It allows us to create ladders for ranking competitors and also host single or double elimination tournaments. It’s fully customizable and can host any type of game and gametype so you never know what type of challenge lies around the corner.

Cool! So who, what and when?

We are going to being hosting both Halo 3 & Halo 5 2v2 ladders. Where you and your most trusted duo can prove your dominance over the ANZ doubles scene. However for starters we are running a Halo 5 4v4 tournament to kick start the launch of Tournamatch!  

• Halo 5 – 4v4 Tournament (Double Elim held monthly): Sunday 5th of August  
• Halo 5 – 2v2 Ladder Start (3 month season): Friday 10th of August season start  
• Halo 3 – 2v2 Ladder Start (3 month season): Friday 10th of August season start  *Note that 2v2 ladder standings will influence 4v4 seedings.

The reason we chose 2v2 ladders as opposed to 4v4 ladders was to increase the number of teams in circulation and give our website and Tournamatch a really good break in to work out as many bugs as possible, so as the community grows and we start to a larger variety of ladders and tournaments we are ready so you can concentrate on playing. As for right now, the events will be free to play offering seeding points, but you can expect large prize pools in the future.
