BRISLAN Official Announcement

Halo Australia is proud to announce its third official live event to be held in Brisbane in October, alongside The Oceanic Halo League. The aim of the LAN is to offer competitive tournaments that will use pro points that players have accumulated over the last few months under OHL cups to seed the competition. The event will be broadcasted on Twitch and give the community an exciting pro level LAN experience.The LAN event will be held over two days and will offer both FFA and 4v4 tournaments. Due to venue limits we are only able to offer 16 team passes (64 players) so get in quick!

Tournament information / Structure
Game: Halo 5 (XBOX)

Tournament structure: 4v4, FFA
In game settings: HCS settings
BYO Equipment: Console, Controller, Controller USB cable, earphones (Screens are provided)

Event schedule 
Saturday, October 14th
10:00am – 11:00am Sign in: Please make sure you sign in before 11:00am and bring your team passes.
11:00am – 4:00pm Pool Play: Teams will be split up into two pools of 4-8, seeding will determine matches for bracket.
4:00pm+ FFA Tournament: Random* groups of 6-8 players will be drawn and played out until the final 8.

Sunday, October 15th
10:00am – 4:00pm Sign in/Bracket: Bracket matches will start.
4:00pm+ Finals: 4v4 Tournament Finals

Prize money will increase depending on the number of players and teams that attend. Prize pool is subject to change.

Purchase team pass here:
After purchasing a pass you will receive a print out with a unique barcode/info that will be scanned at the entrance of the venue. please make sure you have your team passes.

HALO 3 2v2
There will also be a CASUAL Halo 3 setup running alongside the 4v4 and FFA on both days, for anyone interested in dusting off their H3 BR and getting into some sweaty 2v2s on Guardian. This will be the backwards compatible version of Halo 3 or MCC running on xbox one.
